Weekly Update March 17, 2014

Hello UHPers!

I hope everyone is recovering from the week after Spring Break and easing back into class nicely. Thank you to everyone who attended the general meeting last week!

Here are some important updates on upcoming events in UHP

Honors Gala

This Saturday, March 22 from 8pm-midnight! The deadline to buy tickets has been EXTENDED to Wednesday, March 19. Tickets are $25 per person. This is the last opportunity to purchase tickets so hurry to the Honors office! The

This is a semiformal with masquerade theme. Have fun and dress up for the event. There will be a DJ, dancing, refreshments, photo booth, and more! Come out and have a good time with your fellow UHPers and other Honors College friends!

 Community Service

Relay for Life: Friday, April 4th starting at 6pm to 6am at either Belk track or the SAC(TBA).

-Committee meeting on Tuesday, March 25th at 6:00 in the Student Union 269. ANYONE in the Honors college can attend the meeting so please spread the word.

-We will be volunteering at the Time Warner Cable Arena with the Bobcats on Wednesday, March 26^th and Monday, March 31^st from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. We need 10-15 volunteers to participate and we could raise up to $500 for our team. Remember that any money raised will be split amongst volunteers’ goals.  Crisis Assistance Ministry:  Thanks to everyone who came out this past weekend. It was a success!
