Weekly Update January 27, 2014

Howdy UHP!
I hope that you all had a wonderful weekend and are ready for the week ahead! Also, thank you to all who came out to our Buffalo Wild Wing night to help raise money for Relay For Life!! Just so you all know, we are currently (Honors Relay Team) in 3rd place for the University Relay For Life event!! (KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!)

IMPORTANT News

• NEXT general body meeting is Monday, February 10 from 5-6 in Cone 112, PLEASE bring a bag of candy to this meeting so we can have candy to deep fry at Relay For Life (fun size chocolate bars; i.e. snickers, milky way, musketeers, etc) (Word going around is the possibility of yummy foods at this meeting!)
• Make sure you are logging your community service events on ORGSYNC!
• Bake sale starts today at 11:00am and ends at 4:45pm. Tuesday it is from 1:00pm to 4:45pm. Please spread the word so we can raise as much money as possible for Relay For Life :)
• Make sure you mark your calendars now and save the date for the Honors Gala on March 22 starting at 8:00pm!

• Crisis Assistance Ministry: Saturday, February 1-all of the spots for that day have already been taken. • Xtreme Ice Center: Saturday, February 1- show starts at 6:00pm and public skating starts at 7:30pm (show=$10 and skating=$8)

• Honors Gala: Saturday, March 22 at the Charlotte Motor Speedway starting at 8:00pm. The cost is $25/person, dress is semi-formal, and it will be FUN!!
