Everyone!!
I hope
you all are having a great semester so far. Continue to work hard in your
classes even though this is the time where everything may seem overwhelming.
Don't be afraid to ask for help. Take a breather! You got this guys! Don't just
survive the semester. THRIVE in this semester! :) On another note,here are some
important things coming up.
This Thursday, October 24th ,Doc
Hendley, the author of Wine to Water, will be speaking at 7pm in room 340
of the student union. If you enjoyed this book, or the discussion night, where
we talked about some topics in the book, you should definitely go! This is the
perfect opportunity to get your questioned answered about the book or maybe
even starting your own non-profit!
Novemeber 2nd, 12-2pm will be the next opportunity to participate
in the Crisis Assistance Minstry. This
is a great opportunity to physically serve your community by helping sort
clothes. You can sign up to attend here:
Our next GENERAL
MEETING will be on Tuesday, November 5th
at 5pm in the student union room 340B.
The Second
Harvest Food Bank community service date is Friday, Novemeber 8th from 9-12pm. The Novemeber 1st date has been
canceled. This should be a fun opportunity! We need 15-20 volunteers for this

The 49er
Dance Marathon is coming up on November
15th. I am certain this will be an exciting event. If you havent already
heard this is the first time this event has ever been done at UNC Charlotte. Be
a part of it! This unique event raises money for the Levine Childrens Hospital.

Also, RELAY FOR
LIFE is coming up in the spring. It is not too early to register for our
team! Thanks to everyone who attended last weeks Chick Fil A night. Be on the
look out for more RELAY FOR LIFE fundraisers coming your way! If you havn't
