Weekly Update October 21, 2013

Hi Everyone!!

I hope you all are having a great semester so far. Continue to work hard in your classes even though this is the time where everything may seem overwhelming. Don't be afraid to ask for help. Take a breather! You got this guys! Don't just survive the semester. THRIVE in this semester! :) On another note, here are some important things coming up.

This Thursday, October 24th ,Doc Hendley, the author of Wine to Water, will be speaking at 7pm in room 340 of the student union. If you enjoyed this book, or the discussion night, where we talked about some topics in the book, you should definitely go! This is the perfect opportunity to get your questioned answered about the book or maybe even starting your own non-profit!

Novemeber 2nd, 12-2pm will be the next opportunity to participate in the Crisis Assistance Minstry. This is a great opportunity to physically serve your community by helping sort clothes. You can sign up to attend here:

The Second Harvest Food Bank community service date is Friday, Novemeber 8th from 9-12pm. The Novemeber 1st date has been canceled. This should be a fun opportunity! We need 15-20 volunteers for this one. Sign up and grab UHP friend to come with you! Be a part of it! This unique event raises money for the Levine Childrens Hospital. Join the team here:
